Why It Exists
Contractor-focused PM platforms were designed for general contractors managing their own projects. Configure-first IWMS platforms require months of professional services before they work. Neither was built for the health system owner managing a portfolio of capital projects from the other side of the table.
What It Does
01 — Governance
Amount-based governance tiers resolve automatically — when a project's projected cost crosses a threshold, the appropriate approval tier triggers without anyone having to remember the rules. Submit, review, approve, or reject with notes. The approval history is a permanent audit trail. Cost overruns that push a project into a higher tier trigger an automatic alert before anyone is surprised.
02 — Cash Flow
Cash flow is modeled against the project schedule — not as a separate spreadsheet that goes stale the moment a milestone moves. Six distribution curve shapes (linear, S-curve, front-loaded, back-loaded, bell curve). Actual spend entries lock the corresponding period. The remaining forecast redistributes automatically across unlocked months.
03 — Gantt Schedule
The Build Gantt starts from Plan's phase schedule — phase items become the top-level milestone tasks, pre-dated from the project's target start date. Add sub-tasks, dependencies, and assignments. The CPM engine runs on every edit and highlights the critical path. Milestones, dependencies (FS, SS, FF, SF), progress tracking, and baseline compare are all included.
04 — ICRA/PCRA
Enter construction type and patient risk group. The ICRA class is suggested automatically from the CDC/FGI matrix. Required precautions populate by class. Track assessment status, effective dates, and review signatures — all in the project record.
05 — Documents
Upload drawings with sheet numbers, disciplines, and issuance dates. Filter by type — drawings, specs, contracts, submittals, photos. Signed URLs for secure access. Version tracking. All stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket, scoped to your org.
06 — Closeout
Substantial completion, documentation, systems commissioning, regulatory, financial reconciliation, and activation — all in one checklist. Assign items, track completion, add custom items for your system's requirements. When everything is resolved, advance the project to Completed.
07 — Embedded AI Agents
Five agents run in the background across Cash Flow, Budget, Schedule, Contracts, and Governance — Cash Flow Intel, Budget Sentinel, Schedule Watchdog, Contract Guardian, and Governance Patrol. Each one flags its own kind of risk automatically: forecast overruns, contingency burn, eroding critical-path float, stalled NTPs and change orders, quiet gate approvals. A general assistant sits on top of all of it, answering questions about any project from anywhere in the platform.
The Handoff
When a project moves from planning to execution, one click promotes the Plan data to Build — atomically, in a single database transaction.
